Help for Home
Here is a sample schedule that might be helpful to you while your child is learning from home. I left off specific times so you can do what works best for you. I only added the approximate amount of time that should be spent on each section. You can keep an itinerant schedule just like we had at school if you want to, and just do an activity to go with that itinerant. Please feel free to choose the order that you do these in. Take breaks when needed. Do not feel like you have to do this daily. Pick and choose what works for you. Reach out to me if you need help.

5 min  - Calendar (date, tell what day yesterday was and tomorrow will be, say months and days)

20 min - Language Arts (read a book and choose from the following: discuss characters, setting, beginning, middle, end, problem and solution, rhyming words, ask questions about the story. Practice 3 sight words - say it, spell it, say it or write it on the writing paper. Spell CVC words orally or on writing paper - cap, dim, leg, not, rub, etc. or do reading worksheets for the day.)

15 min - Reading (practice sight words using flashcards. Read a decodable book from Reading packet. Do worksheets in packet.)

20 min - Math (Choose from this list: count to 100 by 1's and 10's. Tell the number before a number less than 10. Tell a number after a number up to 100. Complete a day's work from Math packet. Use something around the house to make your own pattern and tell its name (AB, ABC, AABB, etc. Do 20 min or more on STMath.).

20 min - Writing (Choose an activity: spell words, write a sentence, write ABCs, or write first and last name on writing paper. Write about something in journal and draw a picture to match. Use inventive spelling by writing down the sounds you hear in the words, use capital letter at the beginning of the sentence and punctuation at the end. Complete a writing page from the Reading packet.)

20 min - Social Studies or Science (Choose a worksheet from the packet to complete. Go to one of the links from my page to check out some videos. Say the Pledge of Allegiance. Talk about some ways you've been a bucket filler. Take a drive through the community. Talk about neighborhoods, roads, houses, churches, places of work, find landmarks. Go on a "bear hunt" and look for homes with a stuffed animal in the window. Count how many you find.)

30 min - Itinerant  (Mon. - Library; Tues. - P.E.; Wed. - Art; Thurs. - Music & Spanish; Fri.- Spanish & P.E.)
There is a link for Spanish videos and activities on my page, you can use Gonoodle for music and PE, go outside on nice days, etc.)
